This thread is to make you aware that Newsom may be planning a run for POTUS in 2028, and to document the details from August 14, 2025.

You said Newsom is superior. What has he done that is "superior"? Newsom has bankrupted my state, made crime go through the roof, ran off the Middle Class to Texas, Tennessee, Idaho, and Arizona. He has had hundreds of millions of dollars disappear in "High Speed Rail" funds and fire relief funds. He had surfers arrested at the beach for being out in public during CV-19. He advocated for shutting down small businesses and schools. I could go on, but I think that's a good start. What has Newsom done that is a positive, since he is "superior"?

In Fact, I was at Stanford Hospital in June 2020, for the birth of my grandson.
There were people driving all over, Safeway for example, right down the road was wide open.
Went to Los Altos, they blocked off the roads so they could bring the tables outside.

You want to talk crime, look up the fact that the top 10 list of States with the highest crime rates is ALL in Red States.

I can't speak about surfing on the beach and any restrictions that were in place for 'walking the beach.'

Michigan was so gerrymandered that more people voted for Democrats but Republicans controlled both houses and Rick Snyder was the governor. We put an end to that with a ballot inititive. And keep in mind Michigan is an open minded swing state. But still gerrymandering is wrong.

I wish we just let whoever got the most votes be the president. Electoral votes seems like a way for the elites to tell us who they will allow to be president. Why not just let the person who gets the most votes win?
