Actually I don't like paying more, but under Biden we paid high prices his entire presidency because he wanted to eliminate the use of fossil fuels. Which we can't right now, because we don't have the technology. So that's a bullshit reason I paid more.
Trump comes along and lowers the price hugely. He liberated a country and killed the leaders that wanted to nuke us. So the price of gas rises, but I'm still paying less than I did under Biden. And it's temporary, after this is all over we are probably going to be paying less. Than we were before the conflict. Can you understand that, or do I need to write it in crayon?
Lets first get our FACTS straight
1) there was a worldwide pandemic that caused gasoline prices to rise WORLDWIDE, meaning that Biden had no personal fault in that.
2) Russia invaded Ukraine and Biden stopped importing Oil from Russia, that did cause a small increase in gasoline prices in the U.S., but to a small amount:
However, there is one action that President Biden does bear responsibility for. Biden’s decision to
stop importing Russian oil was the trigger for oil prices surging above $120/bbl. They have retreated from that level for now, but the inefficiencies involved in rerouting Russian imports and backfilling that oil will keep a premium on prices.
3) Other than that, it is pure political bullshit by the right to blame Biden for the gasoline prices going up
“At this point, there is no plausible connection between Biden becoming president and the increasing gasoline prices,” Severin Borenstein, a professor of Business Administration and Public Policy at the University of California Berkeley said.
As far as your statement about Trump fixing things, that is also pure bullshit. When Trump took office, inflation was at 3% and the most it came down to is 2.3% and now it is at 2.6% and climbing.
and as far as gasoline prices:
AI Overview
U.S. retail gasoline prices in 2025 averaged approximately $3.10 per gallon, marking a decrease of about $0.21 per gallon compared to the 2024 average. This decline represents the third consecutive year of dropping nominal gasoline prices, driven by lower crude oil costs and increased production.
But now and because of Trump's actions with Iran, it is at $3.41 (and climbing), meaning os ot $.31 cents higher than when he took office from Biden.
These are the FACTS. If you can't live with facts, then go and live with Trump's sheep. You will have one problem there, you will get sheared
