Gas prices and a stupid opinion from an actor

Johnny Carson totally understood that. He was the consummate late night show host and I never once heard him get political. Just take a look at what political bias has done to late night. It's unwatchable by the all but hardcore Leftists.

Not really. He did make comedy from politics, but he didn't take a political stance. He joked about reps on both sides, not just one. His best political bit ever.

This has nothing to do with capitalism, but it has everything to do with reckless, harmful federal anti-fossil fuel policies. If our government would stop blocking oil and natural gas development, we would be awash in both, and gas prices would be around $2.50 per gallon.

Breaking Bad actor says something truly stupid about gas prices:

I’m wondering how he imagines these ridiculous gas prices have any honest relationship to “capitalism?”
Discaimer: BackAgain’s loss of interest in gas prices has nothing to do with the fact that his Trump is President now.

and yet the private companies in that sector are making profits like never before.

weird.
If your profit is a nickel a gallon and you sell a million gallons, how much have you made? If you profit 10 cents a gallon and you sell 2 million gallons haven't your profits increased by 400%? That's how the world works! Suck it up and move on!
