Gang membership around the world and gun crimes...

In the discussion of gun crime in the world...I think finding out how many gang members each country has would be more telling as far as gun crime goes than just the statistics on gun murder rates...since drug gangs in the U.S. drive most of the killing with guns...and criminal gangs in foreign countries also drive most of their gun violence...it would be interesting to see gang membership levels from around the world...I couldn't find specific stats on the comparison...
