There have been reports of beatings and stripped prisoners being ridiculed like in Abu Ghraib. The charges? Some haven't even BEEN CHARGED. Most have been charged with trespassing and vandalism, basically. Those who disagree with their right to protest and who think they somehow were capable of "overthrowing the U.S. government" (I still can't take people like that seriously), should maybe consider how they'd react/behave if they or one they love was put in the same situation after raising hell in DC against Trump. That is IF they have any integrity or sense of justice at all.
Once these Americans get out and tell their story we can expect that very few will ever go peaceably again.
This is clearly a bad faith partisan stunt and ridiculous political theater.
The only thing more reprehensible than the 1/6 rightwing terrorist attack is conservatives trying to ‘justify’ or ‘excuse’ 1/6 rightwing terrorist attack – in this case conservatives trying to advance the lie that the terrorists’ detention is somehow ‘unwarranted.’

First they said they were attorneys there to see a client and then said they were there to speak to a supervisor.
Upon review seems like there was a 4th person there that was a client's attorney and they didn't allow in. With media present I wonder if they were there to serve the supervisor a subpena? Something was up.

With some articles there are tell-tale signs that truth comes secondary to partisanship and aren't worth reading. I do however appreciate being forwarned so not to waste my time. And if they give me a laugh, then even better.

Yes. Hundreds have been charged, and several have been convicted so far, with prison terms being served, and gun rights taken away.
