They're protesting their liberal elitist President. Most of them are socialists protesting the gas tax hike because their socialist programs are going broke. Some of them are working class conservatives and nationalists.

Why "******* Frenchmen"? Seems like YOU would be rioting with the government making $5/gallon on fuel as well. Maybe they've found their limit of retreat here. Not really funny either. They might actually be standing up for something here.

I got gas at this station today for $1.77. It's $1.82 but with a Murphy's Credit card you get a nickel off.

AND you lucky Americano -- That INCLUDED all the taxes. The French are doing to fuel what the US govt did to tobacco. They are now the ones making the biggest profit by far off the backs of citizens.
And the more electric vehicles you put on the road, the MORE you have to raise it to FEED the govt. Just like with tobacco. The govt GOT ADDICTED to the stuff, urged people OFF of it, and then kept RAISING the taxes to equal out their haul..
