Right before our eyes we are seeing the republican party morph into the pre-civil rights Democrat party
IF it does, it will be the result of half the nation bending over backwards to change and amend their racist ways only to have the modern Left get in their faces and tell them it isn't enough. Those who expect them to forever keep bending the knee and agree that nothing they do will ever be enough, are just self-deluded. That pendulum will swing back.

And things will suck as the pendulum swings in that direction but that's human nature. Nothing to be done about it.

In a Republic, actually
When did the GOP become the party of racists?

When Republicans realized they could gain control of Congress and most of the South by welcoming rightwing racists fleeing the Democratic Party after the Democratic Party championed civil rights and defending citizens’ rights and protected liberties.

The Peanuts cartoon is not a source for historic data.
Fact: 1. Lyndon Johnson never stopped referring to blacks as "ni**ers.
2. The only reason the Democrat Party conceived the Civil Rights Act, had less to do with civil rights than the importance of getting votes to beat the Republicans.
3. Only one Dixie Democrat left the Democratic Party over the Civil Rights Act, the rest all stayed in the Democrat Party, understanding that it was important to keep the party in power.
You might actually want to do your research.
Bullshit.

When did the Democratic Party become the party of antisemitism and cancel culture?

'' a bit'' no Republican myself but it was them that put blacks and women and latinos in high places of government power. Reagan put the first woman on the Supreme Court as an example. And also Collin Powell and Condolezza Rice are examples of Republicans putting women and non- white people into high profile jobs.
Todays republican party opposes anything that resembles civil rights.

yeah yeah....the GOP is racist. That's why so many blacks walked away from the democrat party last election and the Dem Socialists are STILL Bleeding minorities.
But that didn't happen.
