everyone has the right to work and earn enough money to feed themselves...and if they have children... the right to provide for their children...

This thread makes me feel guilty. I can't wait til next October when I can stop the food assistance. And no..we don't get checks for rent and whatnot. Just food. Still makes me feel...weird. I have never asked for a handout in my life. I have always worked. But now I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place and have no choice.

I don't know your situation, nor do I need to know, but we all have a choice to make, sometimes we could take that easy choice and submit or we could do it our way and say **** the government.
