That's no different than here. The leftists want a strong central government that controls everyone. Conservatives favor stronger states rights so the people can have more of a say.

The European Continent has individual Nation States, we want to return to Nation States, where each Government determines it's own tax laws, it's own criminal laws, it's own agricultural laws, it's own social welfare laws etc and has FULL control of it's own borders.
The way it is, the EU Commission determines all of the above and Nation States own laws that they pass in their own Parliaments can be overturned by the European Court of Law, which is above ALL Nation States Highest Courts.
This isn't democracy, this is EU Commission Dictatorship, brought to us by unelected bureaucrats, who supercede our ELECTED leaders and our ELECTED Parliaments.
The EU Commission runs Europa like a combination of the Soviet Politburo and Al Capone's Chicago, with all the threats, intimidation and strong-arming.
For Europa to survive, we have to have the demise of the EU Project and with it the EU Commission.
