I’ve given you an argument of how arbitrarily awarding electoral votes before the votes are counted is the same as a state saying they will award their votes to the national popular vote winner, regardless of how their state voted.

There is no need to compare anything. Primaries are not elections. They arent binding. The DNC and RNC can choose a candidate any way they like, at any time. They can choose the person who placed 2nd in the primaries, if they feel he or she is the best candidate.
