It's no great mystery. They've done that in anticipation of Biden's inauguration. The signal has already gone out via the MSM that there will be a huge "white supremacist" (sic) presence in DC during the inauguration and since the left believes that parler is the only method of communication among the right, they're attempting to minimize the crowd.
