“We”? Indirectly through taxes you mean? You are mistaken. We pay for our healthcare.
We all pay National Insurance and that pays for our healthcare. Think of it like a giant insurance scheme without middlemen buying private jets.“We”? Indirectly through taxes you mean?
But it’s not “we all” it’s we most since many don’t pay into it but benefit from it anyway. Correct? We all pay National Insurance and that pays for our healthcare. Think of it like a giant insurance scheme without middlemen buying private jets.
You should not be expected to pay if you are out of work. You can pay when you are in work. Where is the problem in that ? Its called civilisation. But it’s not “we all” it’s we most since many don’t pay into it but benefit from it anyway. Correct?
Hmmmm….so then not everyone pays into it as you said. And there is a private supplement one may purchase. Correct? You should not be expected to pay if you are out of work. You can pay when you are in work. Where is the problem in that ? Its called civilisation.
Doctors in the UK make 1/3 of what doctors in the US make. You get what you pay for..You should not be expected to pay if you are out of work. You can pay when you are in work. Where is the problem in that ? Its called civilisation.
Why would I call an electrician? That doesn’t make any sense? I have forced hot air but that wasn’t even the purpose of the thread.
So a plumber fixes the boiler not an electricianI'm a stickler for "small details".
I can watch a movie or show and find all the flaws in it.

Boom! CorrectOh, you must be up north then. DUH.....just saw your location.........LOL
I don't know of anybody in the south that has a boiler system for heat/air.....it's all electric here.
Illiterate Irish guys are a dime a dozen hereAzogtheDefiler
I agree but the Troskys in power don’t
What is up with Boston and illiterate Irish guys ??
The point of the OP is that what we have now works better than UH could or would and you agree. Thanks
Our insurance companies are inefficient as are administrators. Definitely needs revamping. While I would not trust our government to run healthcare, one does have to wonder why the we spend so much more per-capita on healthcare than those countries with some form of UHC.

The problem is that they ARE administrators. They, with the help of lobbyists and decades of ill-conceived regulation, have inserted themselves as middlemen (middlemen getting their cut) in nearly every healthcare transaction. Insurance companies should be processing claims for unforeseen catastrophic events. They shouldn't "administering" healthcare. Our insurance companies are inefficient as are administrators. Actually, if my furnace needs repair I don't call either a plumber or an electrician. I call a furnace repair person aka HVAC contractor.I'm a stickler for "small details".
