So Trump fires the Defense Secretary by Tweet and sends over one of his lackeys, a guy named Chris Miller, to go run the Pentagon. “You’re the new Acting Secretary of Defense! Get over there now!” So Miller rushes over and, after taking two steps up the stairs to the entrance, he trips over his own feet. This is the guy in charge of defending the country.
