NEW statement issued by NY state Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie: "After our conference this afternoon to discuss the Attorney General's report concerning sexual harassment allegations against Governor Cuomo, it is abundantly clear to me that the Governor has lost the confidence of the Assembly Democratic majority and that he can no longer remain in office. Once we receive all relevant documents and evidence from the Attorney General, we will move expeditiously and look to conclude our impeachment investigation as quickly as possible."​

Yep. Impeachment is the way to go for New York. This is the 21st century. Corrupt politicians don't quit when they are caugt. The double down and fight, even if they know they are wrong. We just went through 4 years with Donny, you would think everybody got the memo and knew this was the new normal. This ain't the 1970s. Dick and Spiro have been dead for years. No more statesmen. No more public servants answerable to the public or party, meaning you party people really ought to be careful of what kind of character the people you elect to be your standard bearer in your primaries. It has gotten ridiculous, what politicians in office get away with and they just aren't worth it.
The Democrats controlling the New York legislature should step up, set the example for the whole country and remove his ass from office.
