Former President George W. Bush has a 68-32% approval rating among members of Gen Z

You don't think at all. Obama is an American name. Obama was born in America, that's his name, he is American, therefore it is an American name. Whites don't decide what's American.
Why did Obama revere his African father?

Regardless, I supported him when he was the President and even respected him. I liked his dad more though. It's not an easy job so who can relate unless they've sat in the WH chair?
Both presidents were great presidents.

Trump was no darling of anyone.
no darling of mine, but he reentered the White House 4 years after leaving it.

somebody must have liked him.

What a weird OP.....It makes no sense. :dunno:
It's Dem denial. Dems still can't fathom why or how Americans chose to send president Trump back for a 2nd term. After Dems threw everything and the kitchen sink at the guy.

Americans have extremely short memories.

GWB is a scumbag, only outdone by Trump, and that's just recently since he's now engaged in neocon policies himself that'd make Bush blush.

This is the same guy who literally lied about wmd and oh yeah isn’t he the same guy who told the Americans people that we shouldn’t be concerned about osama?

I stick by my viewpoint that Nikki Haley should have been the Republican nominee last year. She'd have destroyed Joe Biden in a head-to-head as she would have appealed to a broader constituency and likely win more states than Trump did against Harris. She would have a lot higher approval rating than 38% right now.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda....but didn't.

Well, Trump won against a person who had a bankroll of 1.5 billion dollars to his half of that, won the election not only with electoral votes but also in the popular vote, retook the senate, kept the House, won every single swing state, and drove the democrat party into the dustbin of society. And, Haley would not have gotten millions of votes that Trump did because MAGA didn't like Haley. So, Trump did quite well all by himself.

History will show that there is a reason Obama easily crushed McCain and even beat the highly favored Romney who they tried to prance out as the next Reagan with his soft tone and nice hairdo. That's due to the eight years of Bush and the war that went on far too long.

The war was part of it, but that was largely due to the stock market crash of 2008. Whoever was in office at the time would have been blamed for that.

She wasn’t going to appeal to the left wing nuts. That’s why she had to leave the party of insanity.

Neither did Trump, so I'm not sure what your point is.
My point is she would have had to get the lefts nutter votes to even get nominated and then try to pretend she was actually more like Trump to win the general. Trump never needed the far left, democrats have to win them to have a chance. The right was never going to vote for anyone that took stances required by the left to be in food graces with the democrats. It’s an impossible twist to make. If Tulsi did what she had to to get the nomination she would have lost by the same amount as Harris.

A silly, obtuse argument, unless you either took the survey at the START of Trump's 2nd term or not until 6 months later with Haley in office having done all of the exact same things Trump has done so far.

The point of that is to eliminate all things except the ONE VARIABLE: Trump vs. Haley, so we can make a direct comparison of the two individuals as you are trying here. But of course we all know that had Haley been elected and done all the same things Trump has done so far, many of them would not have turned out the same or with as good result, making your entire argument nonsense.
