Despite early travel restrictions on China his rhetoric did not match the severity of situation. He gave many the impression that it was fully under control and there was very little chance it would spread here. The fear the so called liberal press was spreading was just their latest hoax to make poor President Trumpybear look bad. I'm pretty sure that rhetoric caused a more rapid spread of the virus.
