"Panetta emphasized that former President Barack Obama’s decision to withdraw from the country left a “vacuum” open for Iran."

Obama was a huge proponent of 'sucking', as in leaving vacuums in his wake for terrorists to exploit / fill:
Iraq, Egypt, Libya....

"Panetta’s comments echo his long-standing criticism of his former boss’s foreign policy. “It was clear to me — and many others — that withdrawing all our forces would endanger the fragile stability” of Iraq, he wrote in his post-administration memoirs, adding that without Obama’s “active advocacy” to have U.S. troops remain in the country, a sustained U.S. presence was not obtained."

Panetta points out that Obama's Foreign Policy was much like a vacuum in that it SUCKED, too! :p

Obama’s Own Defense Secretary Hits His Iraq Policy

Because the Kurds/Iranians were never a problem before, right?

Perhaps if GWB had listened to his CIA director we'd never had invaded or occupied Iraq.

"On Sept. 18, 2002, CIA director George Tenet briefed President Bush in the Oval Office on top-secret intelligence that Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, according to two former senior CIA officers. Bush dismissed as worthless this information from the Iraqi foreign minister, a member of Saddam's inner circle, although it turned out to be accurate in every detail. Tenet never brought it up again.

Nor was the intelligence included in the National Intelligence Estimate of October 2002, which stated categorically that Iraq possessed WMD. No one in Congress was aware of the secret intelligence that Saddam had no WMD as the House of Representatives and the Senate voted, a week after the submission of the NIE, on the Authorization for Use of Military Force in Iraq."

Oh, who was it that set the date of Dec 31, 2011 as the withdrawal date?

The same guy who launched the invasion, right?

Bush knew Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction

Obama's policy was to hand over real estate to the Caliphate that we had to pay for twice.

And Republicans didn't say a fucking peep
