It appears the messages come from associates of Meadows. Executive Privilege does not apply when a crime is being committed.

If this was a message from Meadows or any of his associates, it should be a cinch to trace to an email address or phone. Has anybody shown a copy of any of the purported messages she got from the Trump camp? If not, why not?

After all the selectively and dishonestly edited video we've seen, the quotes taken completely out of context, omission of all exculpatory evidence, and how Cassidy Hutchinson (and others) were obviously coached and instructed to be careful to say phrases such as 'in the effect of" to shield them from perjury charges as they gave hearsay testimony, I will believe the message is real when it is authenticated. Neither Trump nor anybody in his administration are dumb enough to send anything like that.

The DOJ has so far shown itself to be partisan and unwilling to investigate ANYTHING other than Donald Trump or somebody associated with him or some other prominent Republican. And each time she said it, it was always with the phrase 'something to the effect of' as a safeguard against a perjury charge. She was so rehearsed and coached anybody could see it. And ANY honorable honest investigation would not have allowed such hearsay evidence with zero challenge and without any opportunity to introduce rebuttal or exculpatory evidence.
