I tried to watch a news report on YouTube about voter fraud this morning and had to sit through a full Republicans are the devil ad only to get to the actual content and it had no sound. Coincidence? Yeah. I watched "The Social Dilemma" a couple weeks ago where they made a similar argument. They made a lot of really good observations, but couldn't help themselves and slid in the appeal for socialism at the end.

Government would love to control social media, and now that Ds and Rs are on the same page, it's looking inevitable.

I have no idea what "Fabric" of the Nation is, or if and how it's being destroyed...but to me it seems like the mostly age-old "the elderly are afraid of change" whines going on... while in real life...off of media, off of the news and the internet...but actual, literal every day life going to the grocer meeting friends for cocktails and going to a high school football game... seems almost the exact same since I was a weee little child.

My Daughter's travel softball league played all summer long, through the pandemic and in NY no less. You elderly folks are mostly just jaded that you're on the back 9 and everybody doesn't grow up the exact same as you did.

So, I'm upset when I see my grandkids sitting on the couch texting each other.

I'm upset that I sent my grandkids a sizable check last spring, when they had to finish college online, as a cushion to help them cover expenses, and they TEXTED me a thank you.

They were brought up better than that.
