This is a question, not a criticism.
1. Is this legal without a warrant? I fully assume so.
2. Didn't the FBI and other law enforcement entities do similar in the past to watch out for terrorism, human trafficking, etc?
3. If #1 and #2 are "yes" I am annoyed at duplication of effort. We need a Ministry of Monitoring that does that at one central location to reduce costs from duplication. They can send info tips to the various entities and cross reference to pick up sniffs of terrorism from disparate sources. If only there was a government entity that already was charged with doing that post 9/11...
