Actually, I don't know anyone who calmly hands something over when he's getting into a fist-fight with a man with a gun. That doesn't make a lick of sense.

You're forgetting that Brown had THC in his system. In other words, like George Floyd, he was stoned. You're also forgetting that he was already guilty of stealing from a store.
But nothing about Wilson's story did.

It does if you look at Brown's actions that day.
Actually, I don't know anyone who calmly hands something over when he's getting into a fist-fight with a man with a gun. That doesn't make a lick of sense. But nothing about Wilson's story did.

For instance, he claims he politely asked them to get on the sidewalk, while Dorian Johnson said he used profanity.

We know you are invested in the murder of this child.

Johnson also claimed in the article that Brown's hands were never in the cruiser but forensics proved that Brown's DNA was all over the place inside the vehicle as reported in the DOJ report.

This article was published four months before the DOJ Report even came out, dumbass. In fact, the article itself says the DOJ investigation was still ongoing when they published. Sorry but, Johnson is full of shit.

Well, he can't legally buy a drink. You can't book a hotel room, go into a casino, etc,

But we know you are invested in the murder of this child.

That doesn't answer the question. Do you acknowledge that Brown was an adult in the eyes of the law? Yes or no.

Uh, guy, nobody "lowered the standards"... that's a right wing myth.

The Housing crisis was caused by MIDDLE CLASS people buying big houses, not poor people buying small ones in bad neighborhoods.

I posted articles from reliable sources and videos in the past. You just refuse to accept the truth. That's exactly what happened. Clinton appointed Andy Cuomo to be the HUD secretary even though he had no experience in housing. He got Cuomo to drop loan standards in order for banks to have the capability to sell them on the market. Lenders need to meet those standards if they need to put that loan on the market in the future.

Holy, fucking, shit, when I compared you to Mrs. Kravitz from Bewitched, I was doing it halfway tongue in cheek. Even Mrs. Kravitz didn't put Darren and Samantha under video surveillance.

They didn't have surveillance during the time except for the most expensive systems that only companies could afford. Mrs. Kravits didn't have problems with Darren staying up all night, waking up the neighbors on work nights at 2:00 am, smoking crack in their cars, and Darren shooting at his wife through a kitchen window.

Or not...

Oh yes, it will help. Lowlifes don't like potential problems. That's why when I advertise an apartment, I stress I'm looking for clean and quiet tenants. Troublemakers know the place will be a problem from the day they move in so many less of them apply.

No one is entitled to a living wage. Young people starting out today can do the same thing we did; get roommates to help with rent, stay with parents, friends or relatives until you're able to make it on your own, get a part time job, etc. Or you can do like so many are lately and stay home indefinitely and live on stimulus and unemployment checks.

Uh, funny, I'm old enough to remember a time when you graduated from High School, you went down to the Union Hall and you applied for an apprenticeship and you made a good living. You know, before Republicans fucked that up.

If you work, you should get a living wage. Period. Full stop.

The job market right now is ripe for the picking. Every store and restaurant is understaffed because no one wants to return to work. People are too fucking lazy to get back out there but you think they're entitled to a living wage. Jesus.
Oh, I agree, nobody wants to go back to dead end jobs that don't make a living wage and people are exposed to a deadly disease to make the One Percent richer.

So you think an employer should pay her a living wage because her morals might be shaky? Why the fuck should any employer pay someone not to steal from them? That's the most asinine thing I've ever heard.

You think it's less assisine to underpay her, and then spend thousands on private investigators, cameras, overstaffed management to count the register every night, etc.

First company I worked for when I got out of the Army was a shitshow Pet Supply Company. Didn't pay shit because Bush-1 had fucked up the economy. (You know, like Republicans do.) And their big worry was that the kids they had working for them might pilfer a bag of dog food. So they paid some private investigator to park his car outside the warehouse to watch us. We all made him immediately.

They still had huge pilferage problems at other plants, managers got fired, and eventually the whole company went out of business.

I say this with all honesty and sincerity: I would much rather live in a world with greed, poverty, crime, drug abuse and violence if the only alternative is a world devoid of color, passion, inspiration, creativity, empathy and compassion.
Right, because Capitalism is so compassionate.

It's why we are the richest country in the world and we have kids who go to bed hungry at night. It's why we have thug cops who shoot 1000 people a year.

Quite the contrary. Brazil was actually building a middle class the first few years I worked there. Their economy was bustling, people were making better money and the Brazilian Real was rising against the Dollar. They were well on their way but something happened and the economy tanked and the Real plummeted to a point even lower than before the rise.
Brazil has always been a shit-show.

He didn't start a confrontation, he simply asked him to get on the sidewalk. After seeing the cigars, he called for backup and asked Brown to wait there at which point Brown attacked him.

He did a lot more than that... He screamed obscenties at them and tried to box them in with his car.

Typical leftist. Believe a lowlife scum that just aided in robbing a store over a police officer that served the public and risks his life everyday. It wouldn't matter how Wilson asked him, it was an order and you obey police orders.

Uh, last time I checked, this was America, and we don't work for the police, the police work for us.

Now, if you want a country where we all work for the police, well, they had a name for that, it was East Germany.

The truth is... Any Cuomo was Housing Secretary in 1997. The Bush Housing Collapse didn't happen until 2008. If there REALLY was a problem, Bush had 8 years to fix it, between looking for weapons that didn't exist and pretending to save us from Gay Marriage.

Of course, Bush didn't see a "problem". The banks were getting filthy rich and dumbshits buying McMansions was creating the illusion of economic growth between his first and last recessions.

You might have a point there. Mrs. Kravitz would have the good sense to NOT live in a slum.

And how many people of color have you rented to?

Bush tried 3 TIMES to fix the housing market and was defeated each time by the dems and lackadaisical republicans. 3 TIMES, so much for that claim.

You have no evidence that the cop did any such thing, the partner of Brown was proven to be lying over and over by physical evidence that proved his statements were lies.

I don't put any faith in the DOJ investigation, because it was pretty clear their objective was to sweep this thing under the rug rather than do their jobs.

This is the problem I had with Holder and Obama in general, they talked tough on police misconduct, but they cowered to the Cop unions.

Compare that to Geo. H. Bush. After the King Riots, he totally ignored double jeopardy and went after those four cops. (They only got two of them in the end wiht minimal sentences, but they TRIED.)

As for his DNA being "inside" the car. Hey, guy, when you bleed, blood splatters. So Wilson tries to pull Brown into the car, wounds him, and there is DNA in the car. Done.

But we know you are invested in the murder of this child.

That doesn't answer the question. Do you acknowledge that Brown was an adult in the eyes of the law? Yes or no.

We try 13 year olds as "adults" in this country. Until recently, we were the only country that executed people for crimes they committed as Children.

But we know you are invested in the murder of this child.

The Dems only controlled Congress for the last two years of Bush's presidency.

Come on, guy, Republicans HATE regulation, they hate doing anything to the rich. You really think he tried to "fix" this?

We have the evidence of witnesses that say otherwise. The Physical evidence is that some of Browns blood got into the car after he was shot... Could have happened at any time. Blood tends to splatter.

Hey Joe? why did brown try to take the cops firearm while he was sitting in his car?

Who says he did. Maybe Barney Fife fumbled his gun while he was trying to pull the kid into the car.

good god all through this thread you made a point that brown was shot 150 feet from the car, now suddenly he managed to get blood IN the car from that distance. You IGNORE established FACTS over and over and claim everybody but brown's partner lied. 3 different investigations all conspired to cover up the truth according to your deluded reasoning. You are either lying or are one of the STUPIDEST people on this earth.

He was still stoned.

Marijuana has various effects depending on how much you smoke, the strain of weed you're smoking and your body chemistry. It can cause anxiety, paranoia, depression and even hallucinations.

There's no telling what effect marijuana had on Brown that day but any of these things could have been a factor.

Uh, last time I checked, this was America, and we don't work for the police, the police work for us.

Now, if you want a country where we all work for the police, well, they had a name for that, it was East Germany.

Obeying the law and listening to the orders of a police officer that enforces those laws is not working for anybody, it's part of belonging to a civilized society the commies are trying to tear down. If you don't like a civilized society, there are places in Africa where you live by your own law because you are in the middle of a jungle.

The truth is... Any Cuomo was Housing Secretary in 1997. The Bush Housing Collapse didn't happen until 2008. If there REALLY was a problem, Bush had 8 years to fix it, between looking for weapons that didn't exist and pretending to save us from Gay Marriage.

Bush and the Republicans did see a problem with it. I posted the videos in the past. Would you like me to post them again? Since you don't because the truth kills you, I'll recap: The Republicans wanted to create an oversight committee for Fanny and Freddy. It was Democrats in the House that fought tooth and nail to make sure that didn't happen, claiming there was nothing wrong with F&F and that such a committee would reduce minority home ownership making it discriminatory.

Prior to that after Clinton had minimum home purchasing standards lowered, the tech bubble popped and nobody was buying much of anything. After GW got in and the economy started to tick up a bit, we were hit with the worst terrorist attack on the US in history costing us over 3,000 innocent American lives. The economy eventually got back while we were in war and that's when house sales started to pick back up. Bubbles are not created overnight.

You might have a point there. Mrs. Kravitz would have the good sense to NOT live in a slum.

The commies in the Federal government were not targeting Mrs. Kravitz neighborhood for destruction at the time or she would have been living in a slum.

And how many people of color have you rented to?

A couple. They moved out. One was a couple and a child and they ended up not being very clean at all, but they were quiet. The other was extremely clean, and quiet as a mouse. She could have lived here forever if she didn't stop paying rent. When she left, I didn't have to do a thing to the apartment. I just listed it as it was. The place was exactly the way I rented it to her--spotless.

You mean the dumbass shit all teenagers do?

I was a dumbass teenager. I never stole a box of cigars. I never walked down the middle of a main street. I never refused the orders of a police officer. I never physically attacked an officer or try to disarm him. Did you as a teenager?

Wilson struggled with Brown in his car and shot him ONCE in the hand. That's how the DNA got there.

Then Brown ran 150 feet away from the car, lost both his shoes, realized he couldn't get away and put his hands up. THAT's When the racist Wilson shot him six more times.

If you don't like a civilized society, there are places in Africa where you live by your own law because you are in the middle of a jungle.

If thug cops, guns and prisons made us safer, we'd have the lowest crime rate in the industrialized world, not the highest.

Bush and the Republicans did see a problem with it. I posted the videos in the past. Would you like me to post them again? It was Democrats in the House that fought tooth and nail to make sure that didn't happen, claiming there was nothing wrong with F&F and that such a committee would reduce minority home ownership making it discriminatory.

Bush controlled the house for 8 years. He didn't have any trouble getting his actual priorities through, like deregulation and tax breaks for the rich.

Fanny and Freddie weren't the problem, the problem was AIG and WaMu and all the other private banks who were writing out these loans for McMansions to middle class folks who couldn't afford them, knowing damned well that they could get their money back when they defaulted by reselling the foreclosed property. The places that demanded bailouts, and still paid their Execs Eight Figure bonuses after the collapse.

Prior to that after Clinton had minimum home purchasing standards lowered, the tech bubble popped and nobody was buying much of anything. After GW got in and the economy started to tick up a bit, we were hit with the worst terrorist attack on the US in history costing us over 3,000 innocent American lives. Wow, you are delusional. The economy was fine when Clinton left. Bush fucked it up and made Al Qaeda the dog that ate everyone's homework, but the economy was already struggling before the attack.

The Bubble happened because Bush did what Republicans do... let the rich run amok and then scratch their big monkey craniums when their greed crashes the economy.

The commies in the Federal government were not targeting Mrs. Kravitz neighborhood for destruction at the time or she would have been living in a slum.

Please show me the legislation that targetted your slum for destruction.

You live in a slum because big business decided that they were through with your city. Not because of anything government did.

I was a dumbass teenager. I never stole a box of cigars. I never walked down the middle of a main street. I never refused the orders of a police officer. I never physically attacked an officer or try to disarm him. Did you as a teenager?

Me, no, I was the nerdy kid who played Dungeons and Dragons. But people I grew up with did that kind of shit all the time and no one shot them because they were white. Today they all fly Thin Blue Line flags.

If you mean stealing from a store and attacking police officers, yes.

Oooh, grand theft cigar. Yup, that's a good reason to murder someone with his hands up.

You don't put any faith in the DOJ Report put you'll accept the word of Johnson who lied about Brown being inside the cruiser?

Who says he lied? Oh, that's right. The cops did.

Nope. Pure speculation. Multiple (credible) witnesses say Brown reached into the cruiser and started whaling on Wilson. Besides, Johnson, the guy in the article you just cited said Brown was not inside the vehicle at all.

So you believed Johnson when he said Brown was never in the vehicle and now you're saying Wilson pulled Brown into the cruiser and splattered his blood/DNA inside.

I'm saying he didn't need to be in the vehicle for his DNA to get inside once he had been shot. It's not like the windows were up. Blood splatters, it gets tracked, there's a dozen ways some blood could have gotten inside that cruiser...

Not that any of it matters, as Brown was 160 feet away from the cruiser, wounded, barefoot, with his hands up when Wilson shot him six times and murdered him. Because he was angry. Not because he was in any danger.

Answer the question.

I did. It was just not the answer you wanted to hear. We keep playing this game, it's tiresome.

I know you are invested in the murder of this child.

'Fraid not. You can't expect to make a living wage working as a, say, restaurant server. It's just unrealistic.

Why not? The actual cost of labor is a very small part. If you increased the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour, it would make a Big Mac cost an extra 17 cents.

If you feel you're not going to get anywhere careerwise as a store cashier, how far do you think you'll get sitting at home collecting unemployment?

Your response is bullshit. They're just being lazy.

Oh, I agree, enhanced unemployment is making it easier to avoid these dead end jobs, but you won't see a rush of people going back to them. The nice effect of Covid is it got people to realize just how little their bosses value them in some cases.

And how many were caught and fired?
A couple were. But it was usually because a fellow employee ratted them out, not that these overpriced PI's caught them doing anything.

Capitalism is neither compassionate nor uncompassionate. It's an economic system, that's it.
Actually, it's completely uncomassionate.. It's actually built on a lack of compassion and decency.

It assumes the worst people will do something for the worst reason, and have a good result. So Amazon workers are criminally underpaid and Bezos is flying into space in his Dick Rocket.

The only person saying Wilson shouted obscenities at them was Johnson and Johnson was wrong about everything else.

Well, that and common sense. Like some racist cop is not going to shout obscenities at a black kid.

He also ignores the fact that the witnesses that told a different story than officer Wilson admitted to lying, caught lying, or their claims didn't match up with the investigation and forensic science. He also ignores the credible witnesses that backed up officer Wilson's story.

Except none of them did.... and the "investigation" was a cover up from start to finish.

How many times did we have cases where the police made claims that were later refuted by video?

This is why I think we need to put a body cam on every last one of these fuckers.

Why not? The actual cost of labor is a very small part. If you increased the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour, it would make a Big Mac cost an extra 17 cents.

Oh, I agree, enhanced unemployment is making it easier to avoid these dead end jobs, but you won't see a rush of people going back to them. The nice effect of Covid is it got people to realize just how little their bosses value them in some cases.

A couple were. But it was usually because a fellow employee ratted them out, not that these overpriced PI's caught them doing anything.

Actually, it's completely uncomassionate.. It's actually built on a lack of compassion and decency.

It assumes the worst people will do something for the worst reason, and have a good result. So Amazon workers are criminally underpaid and Bezos is flying into space in his Dick Rocket.

Well, that and common sense. Like some racist cop is not going to shout obscenities at a black kid.

Except none of them did.... and the "investigation" was a cover up from start to finish.

How many times did we have cases where the police made claims that were later refuted by video?

This is why I think we need to put a body cam on every last one of these fuckers.
You have to be the most deluded IGNORANT fuck of all time or you know you are lying.

This is true, and that's because a McDonald's restaurant sells 1,000 hamburgers a day, 700 breakfast items, 2,000 soft drinks and coffee. That loss can be spread out to the point most customers won't notice or care.

But Bob of Bob's hardware store doesn't sell 600 hammers, 20 lawnmowers, 300 screwdrivers, 500 lbs of nails and screws a day. Bob has to greatly increase the cost of the products he does sell everyday to make up that loss.

Any small business owner would tell you that wage is only part of an employee cost. When wages increase, so do most of the other costs associated with that employee. If an employer gives an employee a dollar an hour raise, they have to pay 50 cents an hour more for all the other costs. Now if you are forced to double that wage, your other costs double as well.

If I have 20 employees at my small widget company, and I have to come up with an additional $10.00 per hour per employee, that's 200 bucks an hour. At the end of the week, the additional cost is $8,000 a week. At the end of the month, $32,000. My largest competitor is out of China. With all costs involved, we can both sell our widgets for around $7.00 each. Where am I supposed to recoup $32,000 a month from?

They are, but in most cases the video helps the officer and not the criminal. The only coverup is in your head. Zero evidence as usual that your claim has any merit. Most of the witnesses lied, the others were found to be lying, and only the witnesses that testified to Wilson's real actions lined up with the evidence. No coverup.

Videos won't convince people like you anyway. You have a one track mind. You see things the way you wish to see them.

If thug cops, guns and prisons made us safer, we'd have the lowest crime rate in the industrialized world, not the highest.

We don't have the highest for one. Two, our country is very diverse unfortunately, something other European countries don't have to deal with. People of color are naturally more violent and criminal than people who are not. The more people of color, the more violent crime you have to deal with. Before you say it's racist to say that, there is nothing racist about statistics.

I've said all along Bush was complicit as well, but he didn't start this idiotic plan. Why should he? Blacks typically don't vote Republican. There was nothing in it for him or the Republicans. Bush wanted to allow people to use a portion of their SS contributions to put into an IRA, why couldn't he get that passed if it was so easy?

Yes, F&F was a huge part of the problem which is why the Republicans wanted to put a leash on them. F&F are who creates lending regulations that all banks must abide to.

The Bubble happened because Bush did what Republicans do... let the rich run amok and then scratch their big monkey craniums when their greed crashes the economy.

I'm talking about the tech bubble, not the housing bubble.

Please show me the legislation that targetted your slum for destruction.

You live in a slum because big business decided that they were through with your city. Not because of anything government did.

We have just as many businesses as we've always had. There are great suburbs still here and doing very well. What's the difference? The difference are the people that moved in.

Yes, HUD targets nice areas for destruction. They've been doing it for decades. They are even proud of it. Here is an online map of current areas to be destructed.

But of course that's not enough. Commies can't destroy these areas fast enough.

Me, no, I was the nerdy kid who played Dungeons and Dragons. But people I grew up with did that kind of shit all the time and no one shot them because they were white. Today they all fly Thin Blue Line flags.

I never knew any kid that robbed a store, walked down the middle of the street high as a kite, attack a police officer and try to disarm him. Not one kid in our entire school system.
