Personally, I find it amazing that there are a number of foreigners on USMB that feel they're in a position to chime in on what's happening in the U.S. If they were actually immigrants I could understand, even if they were illegal immigrants I could understand. But foreigners, regardless of the country you live in, don't you have enough problems in your own country?

I also think in other countries they are timing about speaking against their government or leaders. Here, you can call a President or representative anything you want, and don't have to worry about a knock at the door.

I also think views from outside our country are valuable to us. They show us what we don't want to become.

But the timing of it was very strange and Democrats are renown for using government to get even with people. Look at what Ears did to Trump for crying out loud. Tommy said it right, what happens in the US has an effect on the rest of the world. Speaking for myself, I'm European, my wife is American and my daughter has dual nationality. If you would be interested in the truth it stands to reason that having people who have different experiences and even actual first hand ways to make comparisons should be welcomed. I see plenty of people on the right, talking about socialism, health care, European history in order to make a point about the US. Even this OP is full of replies trying to make claims about American exceptionalism.
