For all you Wrongpublicans supporting the 'Fair Tax'

Yes, they define the "tax inclusive fair market value." However, nowhere does the bill say the 23% rate will be defined this way. The only line where the 23% rate is mentioned says this:

"(1) FOR 2015- In the calendar year 2015, the rate of tax is 23 percent of the gross payments for the taxable property or service."

That would be EXCLUSIVE, not inclusive, moron.

True enough, it does illustrate the painfully large gap in intelligence and intellectual honesty between you and normal people. You have lied about what the bill says, plus you're too stupid to know it.

BTW. I'm an atheist, not a Christian, so your rant about Christians is a complete non sequitur. OH, and note how I used quotes from the actual bill that refer to the parts being discussed. You, on the other hand, quoted stuff that was irrelevant.

**** this and **** that. Nah dude, you are a ******* asshole. Plain and simple. No doubt about it. ******* punk assed little ***** is what you are and you can shove your ******* fair tax idea up your ass.

Another zeke meltdown. He loses arguments, goes on a personal attack.

His MO is getting rather tedious.

Sent from my iPad using an Android.

Hey **** you to dude. I understand the women in your life are "*****". You like calling them that fine name? Whisper it in their ear so they can be prepared for the "real world" as defined by the punk assholes you seem to favor. You know, punk ass Republicans like briar patty.

btw I don't "argue" with any of you assholes. Why in the **** would I do that? And there wasn't any "argument" in my comment to the punk calling women "*****".

But hey, you want to disrespect women that way. Well that makes your women ***** also.

And makes you a ******* degenerate dude.

It sounds like an intentional distortion of the Black dialect.

I think you mean "African-American," bigot.

A racist rant?

You really are one stupid ****. You don't even know what the "black market" is, do you? Here's a hint, it's not a grocery store where black people shop, you witless dung heap.

Hey paparagineo or what ever the **** you are. You like briar pattsy's use of that fine word that describes your women?

Or was it just my use in calling the punk out for calling women that despicable name that made you comment. Or maybe you just agree with the briar.

Will it, conservatard? When conservatards and libertardians hear the phrase

When a post starts out like this ya know its coming from a simpleton.

And there wasn't any "argument" in my comment to the punk calling women "*****".

just in case you never got past third grade, "women" is plural, the man was referring to one "woman" singular, oooooh shit, there i go using words you never learned, i think English was not taught before 5th grade, but on the other hand who the hell knows what these liberfool indoctrination centers instruct any more.

i am going to presume that Liberfool Medium is a womAn and she is definitely a ******* worthless **** !

I disagree with all the name calling. But your point is noted!

"LiberalMedia" is nothing but an emotional and radical outburst whose debate style isn't to engage, but instead to use intolerance and bullying to squelch an actual exchange of ideas. He/She/It is not interested in discussion, debate or dialog, but instead to oppress the same. Look at his/her/it's posts....res ipsa loquitur.

Better than anything a idiotic libtard can come up with.

The speech pattern is reminiscent of the democrat segregationists when they were kicking Blacks out of restaurants. Is it a veiled threat against the Black population? You betta stay on de democrat plantation and not even think of being a republican or we will get y'all.

I will remind you of the rules: "No hijacking or derailing threads."

Comment on the thread's actual topic--the Fair Tax Act--or don't comment at all. Your choice.
Don't cry like a libtard just because your lies are being challenged. Libtards don't like the fairtax because it takes money away from their socialist agenda. GOOD!!!

Of course you would. Completely illogical to look at it that way, but if it sooths your shallow mind, take your refuge there. To belabor your deceit, takes me down to your level in any case.

EDIT: Your editing of my responses to do whatever you hoped for to change the thrust of the exchange puts you in the light of someone with dishonest intent. And you tried to tar me with that brush, ya phony!

I haven't edited a single word you posted, you lying piece of crap.

Anyone looking closely at your post #72 can see your redactions. Just more of the same from you with your disregard of decent conduct, ya phony! If you'll just shut up I'll stop embarrassing you.

What you posted in 72 is the same as he had quoted. Not sure what you think he changed. I think he completely kicked your ass and you are deflecting.

If you are poor, your prebate will make up for any Fair Tax you pay each month. You may even come out ahead.

A 30 percent tax on consumption is superior to a 30 percent tax on production (which is what an income tax is). You can pay 30 percent at the register for your purchases, or 30 percent on April 15 on your total income.

However, every economist will tell you that consumption taxes are superior to taxes on production.

The biggest problem I have with the Fair Tax is that it is inevitable it will be corrupted just the same as the income tax has been corrupted. Politicians will receive large campaign contributions for putting carve-outs in the Fair Tax code. The dairy industry will get exemptions for milk, and things will rapidly be destroyed from there. Corruption by increments.

There isn't a tax scheme in the world which will ever succeed so long as politicians have the power to make carve-outs, exemptions, deductions, etc.

So before you reform taxes, you first must reform the power our politicians have.

The evidence that you're wrong is the fact that virtually every state in the union has a sales tax, but state governments haven't engaged in the kind of "carve outs" that you describe. A few have exceptions for food, but that's about it. the voters simply aren't going to tolerate granting exemptions to every retail product under the sun.

Bullshit. You should check before you speak.

LiberalMedia is another term for shit-headed and basically dishonest propaganda.

I would eagerly endorse a Fair Tax or a Flat Tax. I am all for getting rid of the "income" tax. I would happily shred any law providing for a "progressive" sliding income tax, in fact. While we're at it, I would also do away with the Estate Tax and the corporate income tax.

And, for good measure, I would require that all budgets of the United States be balanced -- including a provision for a rapid paying down of our massive debt.

It might even be a good idea to -- go with this for a second -- comply with the Constitutional notion of LIMITING the Federal Government to its actual ENUMERATED Powers.

EDIT: Your editing of my responses to do whatever you hoped for to change the thrust of the exchange puts you in the light of someone with dishonest intent. And you tried to tar me with that brush, ya phony!

That will get someone a lil' vacation from these boards.
If you can document it, report it.

The list of sales tax exemptions for the great red state of Mississippi are too long to list here.

You can see the list here: Exemptions sales tax

Sales to Mississippi Technology Alliance.

Uh-huh. I seeeee...

Accessories including jewelry, handbags, luggage, umbrellas, wallets, watches, backpacks, briefcases, garment bags and similar items carried on or about the human body, without regard to whether worn on the body in a manner characteristic of clothing

Your wallet and purse are exempt from sales tax! Irony!

So...as I was saying, don't bother reforming the tax structure until you reform the politicians who control the tax structure. As long as we give them the power to grant carve-outs, exemptions, deductions, etc., then there is no tax system you can devise which will make any difference. And there is no campaign finance reform you can devise which will make any difference, either.

Post #72 is was not my post, but rather his. An oversight on your part, perhaps? My post, from which he quoted originated in my #64, but may have been quoted from my #70.

My edit was an afterthought when I noticed the ellipsis in the otherwise empty quote box in #72. That ellipsis is what I use below a block from another post I have quoted to allow the editor to post what I've written INSIDE the others quote, which is highlighted in blue usually. The editor on this site will not post a reply without a minimum of bits below the quotation, hence the ellipsis.

That ellipsis is what I noticed later and which brought on my edit remarks after some checking. If I were going to try to deflect, does it seem logical to you for one to employ that strangely odd "method"? Perhaps you should rethink that proposition.

So you'd only support a Fair tax if it's at 30%?

Why on earth would any of us want to do that?

Fair tax at 3% max. Encourage economic growth and stand back and watch the revenues come pouring in.

Personally, I support a progressive income tax. But I want EVERYONE to pay at least $1.
Everyone should have some skin in the game.
