I think you're referring to ONE GOP nutcase--Rick Santorum. There is NO REPUBLICAN that believes that birth control contraceptives be banned. Their argument--is that employers should have a choice in if they pay for them or not--especially if it is against their Catholic beliefs.

It's nothing more than that.
