I never said you claimed it was sea level. I said that the article states that rising sea level have made that plant extinct. That is a demonstrable fact. That other factors made it vulnerable is irrelevant to that claim because those other factors did NOT make it extinct.

You omit that the plant survived from 1917 to the present despite all the factors that had been pushing it into decline. You ignored my analogy.
