Anyone who needed their $2,000 to have been credited Friday and paid bills Friday or later Will have some upcoming problems

If you can't pay your bills because your direct deposit was not made, you have severe money management issues.

If they sent out those checks without verifying their balance, that is their own damned fault. It would not bounce if the funds were deposited before the check clears.
