Veteran's Day was established to honor all the vets of WWI.

That's why it is always on Nov 11th...no matter what the day is.
It coincides with the end of WWI...the 11th hour of the 11th day
of the11th month. This year on 11-11-2018 will mark the 100th
anniversary of the end of the "War to end all Wars."

The President will be attending a Vets parade at Joint Base Andrews
that day.

Saves us a lot of money if they were having a parade anyway
