First order of Republican House business tomorrow is…..

Excellent. First order of business is impotent partisan virtue signaling. Should fix everything.

I think we are in store for more of the failed repeals of Obamacare that never pass. Wasn’t it 87 bill attempts?
.

Nothing at all like the first order of business for your Greasy Salad In Chief and all his EO's, right?

Just like those (ahem) proclivities that you leftist parasites have tried to hide in the past, but are no longer even bothering to be covert about?

50,000 IRS employees will retire within the next 5 years.... You've been duped, by your handlers, trying to avoid paying taxes.

The legislation will indeed result in increased audit activity, but claims of a new army of IRS agents and rampant audits on everyday Americans are misleading, tax experts say.

Below, tax pros explain where the money is going, why you’re very unlikely to be audited and what you can do now to make the prospect even unlikelier.

IRS hiring is meant to get to ‘status quo’
That 87,000-agent figure isn’t an arbitrary number. But to put it into context, it’s important to examine the state of the IRS.

“There are a bunch of problems. They have about 8 million unprocessed 2021 returns and only answered 11% of calls in 2021,” says Bill Smith, national director of tax technical services at CBIZ MHM’s National Tax Office in Washington, D.C. “There’s been a 17% reduction in the [IRS] workforce since 2010.”

What’s more, the IRS’s workforce is aging. Between retirement and other departures, the agency will lose around 50,000 of its 80,000 workers over the next five years, according to 2021 congressional testimony from IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig.

Back to the 87,000 new agents: That number comes from a May 2021 report from the Treasury Department assessing how the IRS could use an $80 billion appropriation. The report says the IRS could add nearly 87,000 new staff — not all of them enforcement agents — in order to “rebuild” and “revitalize” the agency.

In other words, that figure is not from the IRS or from the official law (how exactly the agency will spend the money remains to be seen). It’s an estimate that accounts for a huge amount of attrition at the agency.

“When we hear 87,000 agents, it sounds like a horrifying army of people. But it’s what they need to maintain, because people are exiting in volumes,” says Robert Cordasco, a certified public accountant and founder of Cordasco & Co. in Savannah, Georgia. “I don’t know how much it adds as much as it gets us to the status quo.”
It would take Congress only a few months, maybe a year, to rewrite the tax code in such a way as to eliminate the Bureau entirely. In the process, they could probably increase the revenue sent to the government every year and Warren Buffet would finally have to shut up about his secretary paying less than he does. Of course, that will never happen.

….to reverse the order hiring 87,000 IRS agents to go after small business owners and hard-working moderate earners. It’s shameful that the Democrats want to develop an army to intimidate and harass Americans, while they allocate funding for a measly 300 border agents to prevent the invasion from the southern border.

Up until now, the Democrats have treated foreigners here illegally better than honest Americans. That begins to change tomorrow when Republicans take over.

Correction to your post: Democrats do not put more border patrol agents on the border to prevent illegals from coming here. Those agents are put there to extend out their hands to help illegals out of US waters or land and bring them to facilities where the illegals can be processed with free medical care, housing, food, and transportation.

TRUMP! has an army of tax accountants prepare his returns every year to make sure they are done correctly and that he pays every penny he owes. Everyone should do the same. You didn't think he sat down with TurboTax and filled out the 1040EZ, did you? If you don't like the fact that he has had the IRS on his tail for decades and not gotten in trouble with them, rewrite the tax code.

The problem is, Trump went into the process looking to deceive people... that's why he's in trouble now.

It does effect everyone's life, however, if Hunter's business dealings are on there and Quid Pro is featured as the Big Guy getting his 10% cut. The rest of it is just the same mentality as Orange Man Bad, that you should hate TRUMP! simply because your favorite hate merchant tells you that you should hate TRUMP!.

trump was president, and yes, his criminal level incompetence had effects on your life if you were one of the millions who lost a loved one to Covid or a business to his riots or lost your job during his recession.

Nothing Hunter has done has any effect on my life. Even the deal with China you guys whine about never happened.

Oh, you'll go back to the fart noises

Such self importance... Did you really spend minutes typing all that out for me to ignore it?

another wingnut living in mortal terror that a rich person might have to pay his fair share.

Tomorrow will be a Clusterfuck for Republicans

Rather than showplace their agenda to America, they will show that they cannot do a simple thing like select a Speaker.

It's such bullshit.

If my employer is paying me $25.00 an hour, and I quit the job, he will replace me with another employee and pay him $25.00 an hour. In other words, replacing me won't cost him one red cent. So how can any honest person tell us this 80 billion dollars is going to replacing retiring workers?

Secondly: Most growing businesses understand that it's much more cost effective to pay current employees overtime than hire more employees. Hiring more employees also means providing more benefits. So tell us, how many IRS agents are working six day weeks or ten hour days? If that's what we need the new money for, then all that tells us is how incompetent government is compared to the private sector.

So when people write bullshit like you just posted, use some common sense and ask yourself if that sounds logical.

Yup. The 300 border agents are to help with getting them processed and into the country.

Agenda of Republican House

Hunter Biden’s Laptop

Yes, let’s find out to what degree the POTUS has profited from his son influence-peddling.
Get Fauci

Absolutely. He was involved in funding the development of the virus, and the used it to shut down the country, and lie about everything. His actions might even be treasonous.

Definitely. Let’s stop the CRT crap and getting five-year-olds to question their gender, and go back to basic academics. And let’s hire people based on competence, rather than choosing, for instance, a black lesbian immigrant because we need to check that box.
Impeach Biden

You were all for the nothingburgers of Trump’s impeachments. Now that we have a president deliberately trying to drive inflation and import semi-literate foreigners to weaken the country, you’re opposed?

The best thing we can do is stop the leftists in their tracks.
Shut down Government

Not shut it down, but we can certainly get rid of redundant personnel who work half-days from home and collect six-figure salaries. Bye, bye!
Registers with the base, but does nothing for the country

It isn't, they are adding 87,000 additional agents to do the job they SHOULD be doing now.

Secondly: Most growing businesses understand that it's much more cost effective to pay current employees overtime than hire more employees. Hiring more employees also means providing more benefits. Says the guy who has been on disabilty for the last five years... after he couldn't get a better paying job.

So when people write bullshit like you just posted, use some common sense and ask yourself if that sounds logical.
Like anything you say is logical, Ray?

We already know he wasn't.

I'm still wondering how you 'make" someone question their gender. It's like that preacher who was smoking crystal meth with a male prostitute, trying to blame anyone but himself.

You were all for the nothingburgers of Trump’s impeachments. Now that we have a president deliberately trying to drive inflation and import semi-literate foreigners to weaken the country, you’re opposed?
Uh, shaking down a foreign country and inciting a coup were "nothingburgers"? Really?

Shows just how frivolous the Republicans Political Agenda is.

After campaigning on inflation, gas prices, the border they demonstrate no plans to actually do anything about it
