I think I saw super man 2 and Raiders of the lost Arc in that same time period

Audrey Hepburn was great in My Fair Lady but that's a Rogers and Hammerstein musical.

"Silver screen" refers to the period when movies were black-and white. Silver was used in the manufacture of B and W film.

My first memory of a movie theater was in 1985 when I was just three years old. Sesame Street's film named Follow That Bird was on the screen.
