If the Pandemic Team was there they could have warned us that this is an outbreak that will reach US. That was created because of the Ebola outbreak by Obama.

You do realize that Obama set up his own task force for Ebola, correct, once it hit the US. the ebola czar he appointed, which was not a doctor, Ron Klain, Biden’s chief of staff, then set up rapid response teams for ebola response. Retired Naval Commander Ziemer came on board as a member, due to his familiarity of Africa, when he worked under Bush on malaria response. Once ebola was no longer a threat here and funding expired, Ziemer then transferred -not fired- to USAID.
Trump did just as Obama, except for one exception, he set up permanent rapid response teams before this was even a thought, rather than teams set up for just a particular outbreak.
Now where you guys get that Trump was unprepared when he strengthened the pandemic response act by signing a new bill that helped to consolidate response across the govt, so that many minds were coming together under a stronger system.
If it weren’t for the partisan bullshit, and if you really cared you, yourselves would research this to find out this was the case, rather than piss and moan constantly.
By the way, there were only a few cases of ebola within the US., the first in 2014, yet the epidemic in west Africa had been raging for over a year before that. Plus there was much information about the ebola virus that had been shared, as they allowed the cdc to help. Yet no task force was appointed here until the cases hit here.
China did not report this outbreak until after it began to rage there, and even then they stated it wasn’t transmitted person to person. And they refused to allow WHO or the US CDC in to help. It wasn’t until it couldn’t be covered up any longer did we know how serious it indeed was. And Trump, before the WHO even mentioned it, restricted travel from China.
So rather than continually try to place blame because you don’t like Trump, just maybe think about the fact politicians and media were claiming he was racist and xenophobic, and told their constituents not worry, because Trump didn’t know what he was doing, when he took immediate action to try to head it off as much as he could at that point.
Maybe it’s time you told your politicians to work with the team assembled rather than thwarting and continuing to place blame.

There is an outbreak in China as early as November but our government was caught just watching. January 30 Trump travel ban was too late at the same time American citizens are still traveling back and forth. That’s how the CV spread in this country especially here in the west coast.
