I have FF 38.0.5 with no issues.....sure is nice to be away from IE screen-door for malware.

I downloaded it (first try was from a spoofed site with a trojan horse), left it on default settings and added ad-block.

I have it installed but never use it, I use Yandex Beta, it's very stable and fluid on my tablet.

I haven't downloaded 38.0.5.

Firefox has gotten progressively worse over time.

It crashes a lot more, and that stupid memory never gets the file right when downloading pictures.

The file problem probably comes from your photo editor if you have Windows. When I put the smaller Photoshop 4.0 on instead of 5.5 and 6.0 I have to make sure I get pics I want to copy into MP instead of the driver-tool file it wants to put them in.

When i want to edit a post, i hit edit and it just clocks indefinitely.

Also, the smilies option does not appear for firefox.

If nothing works, here are some alternatives. All three provide an in-built adblocker.

Well, I switched to Chrome for that reason, it works better on my s5 than firefox does.
