Finnish reporter admits Hamas fires rockets from Shifa Hospital

Why shoot rockets from behind a hospital? Why not shoot it from a location that doesn't risk a retaliation which leads to innocent deaths?

This has to be the most disgusting, morally depraved culture in the world.

Because they know Israel has the ability to return fire to the location it received it from. They used artillery to hit the target, so the didn't know it was a hospital.

You're going to burn in hell for making up lies to defend the bombing of hospitals.

On top of the fact that God doesn't like Canadians in the first place, starting this thread makes you extremely disgusting in HIS eyes.

You don't give a shit about innocents, so why even comment on it?

You sure as **** don't care about Israeli innocents.

And yeah, shooting from a hospital puts that hospital in danger of attack. The blame for this lies squarely with Hamas.

During the night someone launched a rocket somewhere behind the hospital. Now this sentence from my article is spreading in the pro-Israeli medias. I mentioned this in my article because I’m a professional journalist. I try to cover the events truthfully as I see them and I strongly condemn these kind of actions.

But I find it very disgusting how this one sentence was taken out context to be used as an excuse to target civilians in Gaza. My story became quickly a tool of propaganda. The people sharing this story are not even trying to understand the situation as a whole. They are just looking for excuses to Israeli actions in Gaza.

I refuse to be part of this kind of propaganda.

That doesn't mean the rocket wasn't fired from that location. The reporter is partial to Hamas.

fanger, et al,

You are right, good catch.

Why disguise the huffingtonpost, and pretend it's the BBC?

I apologize. I saw "BBC" in bold and just type that in from the News Line Header. No sinister plot intended.

Again, my sincere apology (to you and the membership of the USMB) if the link mislead you in any material way. I made a mistake.

And I owe an apology to Karin Laub. Everyone knows she is an AP Reporter.

Sincerely,

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) -- A Gaza park was attacked Monday, killing at least 10 Palestinians, including children, a Palestinian health official said.
It dont mention BBC as I see it, Plus you would have to create the the Link to appear as if it was from The BBC, instead of just copying the link, why did you do that?

fanger

I have apologized for the inaccuracy. I gave you a picture of what I saw at the time.

I made the mistake. I often have several news window open at one time. As you can see, the link is accurate.

  • All my links are essentially made the same. I type "SOURCE:"
  • I give it attributes SOURCE
  • I then type the source as I describe it. A12345
  • I highlight it, a hit the URL Link button above where the true URL is attached.

Again, I apologize. What more can I say. I was wrong.

Then she should not have said what she did should she, if the rocket was fired from the parking lot then the hospital becomes a valid military target under the Geneva conventions.

I dont know what you people talks about.. the france24 reporter was nearby the launching in the hospital so ...?

that any rocket fired from Gazan territory will not result in Israeli deaths and the near certainty that the destruction of a hospital or shelter will cause the deaths of women and children I think it is legitimate to question the judiciouness of the IDF response.

There have been over 3,000 rocket or mortar attacks on Israel in the last 7 mos. which have resulted in 6 civilian deaths and 41 injuries. Retaliation by Israel has resulted in over 1000 Palistinian deaths and near 8,000 injuries. (I'm not 100% sure those stats are still accurate but I'm confident they are close)

Please don't make the mistake of accusing me of being a Hamas supporter or of not defending Israel's right to self-defense. As I've stated before what I'm criticizing is the apparent tactic of un-measured response in many of these events. Using civilians as shields is obviously a barbaric Hamas PR ploy. Israel should not accomodate them by
actions that feed into the propaganda.

Everyone is important here in Israel.
6 Died any many others wounded, sorry for the miracles.

So, bomb the parking lot behind the hospital, not the Hospital

Not according to INTERNATIONAL LAW and the GENEVA CONVENTIONS as they say that any structure used becomes a valid military target. This means that anywhere within the blast area of the armaments used is a valid target. Now Israel could have used the new explosives but the ISLAMONAZI PROPAGANDISTS have complained about the use so Israel has resorted to using conventional explosives and of course the damage is more extensive

15th post
Nazis are Nazis.

Hamas may be bad but they are resisting Nazis. They have the moral high ground by default, as Zionism, settlers and the IDF come from the deep underworld.

Then do explain their role during WW2 when they followed the ISLAMONAZI grand mufti in his quest to mass murder all the Jews. The evidence shows the Palestinians are followers of nazism

What BS this thread is, noone said rockets were launched from hospitals.

The journo that gave the initial report stated that the rocket was launched from the rear car park. Try reading it again.................
