I am so fucking tired of hearing about hockey, basketball, off-season football, college basketball, college football, minor league hockey, high school football, high school basketball, and fucking.... GOLF....

It's great to finally hear stuff on the radio pertaining to baseball!

Even if it's only for 15 minutes at a time before they go back to the shit above....

What happened to baseball being the National Pastime? I mean, dang... I can talk baseball all day long!!

Why does the radio concentrate on minor-league stuff like high school and college sports?!?!?!? And the TV too...

Baseball is America's sport. It gets slightly higher attention in the media than major league hockey and soccer. This is very disconcerting to me. Minor leagues (inc college and HS) of other sports, dominate the news over baseball, during baseball season!

Maybe it's because I'm in Arizona now... but in NY it was never that way.... METS and YANKEES #1, GIANTS/JETS 2nd, hockey... nobody gives a shit... and basketball!!! LOL! Basketball and hockey just creates unnecessary traffic and congestion in NY and Brooklyn. Fucking both sports should not even exist!

It's BASEBALL SEASON MOFO's!!!!!! Get used to it!!!!!!

First, let me introduce you to the boys from Flushing, minus the two other aces we have....

These 3 guys are as badass as you can get. I get goosebumps every time they pitch.

And my boy Matz is not here, nor is Wheeler. That's FIVE aces...

I thnk I love Thor the best tho, this season... Should he stay healthy, he may break some records....

deGrom is my favorite though. Harvey is just fun to watch. But Matz, he can do it all... Wheeler may end up being considered the #5 starter when he comes back from surgery in July, when he could be an ace on many other teams....

Hi five!!!

I love falling asleep to a game!!!

That's is something that is natural to the unfortunate person that has to drive!

But for the rest of us??? Party time!!!!

I haven't checked it out yet, but the D'Backs have this "cheeseburger hot dog". It sounds gross, but it is actually very visually appealing...

I mean... I'd fuck it... Looks good! Really expensive though. I'll try one eventually, and let you soccer fans know about it when I do....

Very few people here have an interest in baseball like they do football I have noticed. Cant blame them I guess because baseball is fun to watch at the actual ballpark live, but on tv,its like watching paint dry though, very boring.

Only time it holds my interest on tv is when my team is BATTING.
Baseball is much more exciting to listen to on the RADIO by far.

when they are on the field and the other team bats,i just cant sit through it then.thats why I pretty much only watch the playoffs and world series.

ONLY time I can sit through watching a whole game is one played in chicago against the Cubs or in Oakland against the A's,those two cities have the most loyal dedicated fans in the world.

Even when they are horrible and in dead last place, their fans still pack them in and cheer them on till the very last out even when the game is hopeless with no chance of them winning. I worry about Oakland, their is talk they might lose all three teams, the a's,raiders, and warriors. warriors would not bother me since i hate basketball but the a's and raiders playing anywhere other than oakland just does not sit well with me. Oakland is their identity.

Btw looks like my Royals beat your Mets again on opening day.

Yes, but we won the 2nd game, ruled by Thor himself....

It sounds like you're a bandwagon fan. You only like baseball because the team in your proximity is doing well. You don't understand the nuances of baseball, especially the pitching side and defense, when you're team's not hitting.

But that's understandable in this day and age, of the need for instant gratification. Maybe Bryce Harper is right, and players should celebrate when hitting a home run. Do the Ickey Shuffle as they round 2nd base.... Or the pitcher spikes the baseball on the mound after a strikeout! That's what this generation wants! And I say do it...

Maybe I'm too old and I know what the ickey shuffle is... But if you remember it, I would love to see it done in baseball! :)

Actually the pitcher cannot spike the baseball after a strikeout, unless the catcher throws it back to him after the fact, and THEN he spikes it.... That would defeat the purpose....

Maybe the pitcher should do the ickey shuffle after a strikeout, instead of the batter.... Definitely...

We need something for the batter to do, when they do something well.... Any suggestions?

those were the good old days when NFL football was fun to watch, before games became rigged like they are today. I have gotten to where unless it is the LOS ANGELES Rams,I wont watch NFL football and I am only going to be watching them because i am so stoked they are back in LA obviously and they will be wearing their classic LA colors, the ONLY reason i will watch NFL football this year cause they have the coolest looking uniforms in the country bar none. those ugly rags from stank louis needed to go.

But you're going to face my Cardinals twice... And the chickenhawks twice... It's gonna be hard for you in your new/old state this year. Just beat up on the 49'ers and enjoy those! :)

5 or 6 aces vs Bryan Harper? Wow...

Harper is the dude! I love him! But he can't overcome the Mets by himself. It's a long season and pitching is gonna get more refined, even as hitters get locked in...

It's gonna be fun! GL! But the Mets are a lot more exciting than the Nats!

Have you seen Thor pitch yet this season?!?

I may agree with you Papa... They are awesome...

But all the Mets need is another black cat, and we'll sweeeeeep you again!

Stuff like that doesn't happen, unless it's destiny...
