That chart is actually from one ice core from Antarctica, and the "temperature" is "determined" by an oxygen isotope ratio... and it is near the tectonically and volcanically active Antarctic Peninsula. There is "A grade" data and then there is "D- grade," and that chart is in the D- category.

Anybody who seriously thinks about it will wonder why nobody is answering those questions and then they maybe, just maybe might begin to see the value in wondering if all the AGW/climate change hype isn't likely all profit and/or politically motivated.

Some of us actually want the truth of these things and aren't satisfied with just repeating the assigned talking points. Most especially when honest answers will determine how much of our resources we are willing to be confiscated for that cause and how many of our liberties, options, choices, opportunities we are willing to sacrifice to it.

The first part is understanding what is climate and what is weather. Climate is the parameters of Earth that allow certain ranges of weather. We don't get Cat 10 canes now, but we would if Earth had no ice.

What are the parameters of climate that can change?

Ocean levels
Atmospheric thickness
Temperature
Humidity


What controls those?

The amount of ice on the planet. Period. Ocean level is 100% inversely correlated to Earth ice content (on land, not sea ice, which is pathetically small) - duh. Trapped in ice age glacier is compressed gas. When it snows 10 feet, you can compress...

What is an ICE AGE?

Most apparently still believe it is a terrifying horror movie event where Earth all at once freezes up. The data has never supported such a scenario. Since 2010, there has been a massive effort to re-write Earth climate history into a series of rapid "glaciations" and ice retreats, as if "Day After Tomorrow" movie is accurate... LOL!!! What was North American Ice Age before 2010 is now spun into a series of rapid "ice ages" where it took a mere 75k years for the "ice age" to start in Northern Canada and put 2.5 mile thick glaicers on Chicago. This is "Milankovich"...

If there was a volcanic eruption nearby, it might spike the temps there while having a minimal overall effect on Earth temp. The volcanic gasses may also contort the data significantly. To claim that chart is "Earth temperature" is laughable.

During the past million years, Greenland froze while North America thawed. So if you measured temps on NA, they'd go way up, and AT THE SAME TIME temps on Greenland would go way down....

I do not accept that one ice core from one continent is a "global temperature." It is a VOSTOK temperature, if you trust "oxygen isotope ratios" where those who use that method CANNOT EXPLAIN WHAT VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS WOULD DO TO THAT RATIO...

and even with that, the variance is quite small, for a local reading. It definitely does not support CO2 FRAUD. It shows that nothing out of the ordinary is happening, no breakout.
