That "quack" went to Harvard undergrad and got his MD and MBA from Penn. He is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon who has performed many heart transplants. He is also "a professor at the Department of Surgery at Columbia University and the director of the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York-Presbyterian Hospital." Care to compare Fauci's resume?
"Oz would become a professor at the
Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2001.
[20] He has helped develop numerous devices and procedures related to heart surgery, including the
MitraClip and the left
ventricular assist device (LVAD), and by 2015 held a number of patents related to heart surgery.
[29][35][20] In 2010, Oz joined
Jeff Arnold as co-founder of
Sharecare, Inc.[36][37] In 2015, a group of ten physicians demanded Columbia remove Oz from the faculty for his alleged "disdain for science and for evidence-based medicine." Columbia defended Oz and dismissed calls for his termination."
Note the text in bold. As always, politics plays a huge role, even in the medical community. He was, *GASP*, a Republican. How dare him think for himself. He was supposed to follow the herd at Columbia.
