On the one hand if Trump does not deserve a peace price, nobody does.

On the other hand, yes, this is FIFA ingratiating themselves. Maybe they feared that Trump would cancel the World Cup in the U.S., as he certainly should have.

I don't believe that the U.S. should host the World Cup or the Olympics. Not until we have our foreign population under better control, and our vetting of foreigners who enter the country is more effective.

When we have one or more than one terrorist attack on some of these events, and our politicians and talking heads are lamenting 'how could this happen at an event that should be a symbol of the world uniting in peaceful competition,' remember that a random internet poster predicted that it would, and restrained himself from adding "duh!"

Terrorism aside, these events draw prostitute-seeking foreigners in droves and the human traffickers are out luring people into the industry right now.

We know now though they subtlety leaned left in many reports and news. We hear what we want to hear. To make up for our flaws also.
