Half the country feels they are worse off than they were one year ago, including over half of independents, with only a third feeling they are better off. Voters feel that he's made America increasingly polarized with 42% of voters feeling he may turn out to be the worst president in American history.

Less than a third of voters think the country is better off than it was when President Trump returned to the White House a year ago, with a wide majority saying he has focused on the wrong issues, according to a new poll from The New York Times and Siena University.

A majority of voters disapprove of how Mr. Trump has handled top issues including the economy, immigration, the war between Russia and Ukraine and his actions in Venezuela. And significantly, a majority of Americans, 51 percent, said that Mr. Trump’s policies had made life less affordable for them.

All told, 49 percent of voters said the country was worse off than a year ago, compared with 32 percent who said it was better.

Promises.webp

Im not worse off. No better, no worse.
While he certainly can be divisive, the people are causing most of it, IMO. That dude cant blow his nose with a kleenex without some moonbat screeching about how he hates trees.
I cant stand the guy, but he didnt break me like he did so many others. The TDS on both sides is ridiculous.

Polls? Back in 2021 Joe Biden and the Democrats passed the Green New Scam causing massive inflation while giving billions of tax dollars to solar and wind farm CEOs. Also billions of tax dollars have been fraudulently given to Somalis who lied about their businesses and have taken ill gotten gains while giving the Democrats donations to look the other way. When you poll, democrat run cities, of course they will give the President "unfavorable" numbers, but the rest of the working class country is fuming as hell a the democrats for stealing their hard working income to give to lazy liberal scum.

I'm actually doing better, but I've done better every year despite who the president has been: Trump, Biden, Obama, Bush. I make myself better. I don't need a politician to do it for me

They took a poll last November. 77 million of us wanted Trump vs 4 more years of Obama.

Deal with it.

Speaking of polls, a recent Gallup poll shows that the majority of young Americans now reject both parties. For me this was very good news...and restored my faith in humanity, a bit.

Also, an increasing number of Americans overall are now identifying as independents.

After his first term, historians considered Trump to be one of the four worst Presidents in history. Mostly because of his refusal to peacefully transition the presidency.

After the chaos of his first year, it is doubtful anyone will deny Trump is the worst in history.

As badly as history will view Trump, it will view those who heard what he planned to do and still elected him

I'm an Independent that voted for Trump.

He promised retribution.

That is the priority of the people who support him; not good government.

But it doesn't matter what they say because at the next election 98% of them who vote will still choose one or the other.
