Fetterman.

Either way what I said is correct. The governor appoints a replacement.
You sure about that? Pennsylvania law says otherwise

The next election. 2024.

No there is one this year.

If that was the case........here is the argument.........Democrats think they can hide Fetterman even though he would never show up for months. (they can't).

Or they could appoint someone now which would give them the benefit of incumbency.

It makes no sense.

And? You think the Democrats can hide him for 6 years?
The timing component of the tweet sailed very swiftly over your head.

Nobody said anything about hiding his alleged brain death for six years. Depending on the actual PA laws, it is apparent that the “hiding” of necessary would be up until around sometime in August. That’s shy of only six months.

For what advantage? You would want to get an incumbent seated ASAP. While I dislike it, incumbency has huge advantages.

The advantage (as discussed in the tweet) would be that a replacement could be seated by a liberal Democrat without an election until the next general election.

They can hide this until then? No one ever see him? No questions ever asked?

This should strain things... Now they must convene a special election.

Excerpt:

(Ben Sellers, Headline USA) A viral tweet from John Cardillo, a former NYPD officer turned conservative radio host and social-media influencer, called for an investigation into whether Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., may be clinically brain dead as Democrats engage in a cover-up to avoid a special election before August.
