Fence Post Bracing Idea - For a strudy garden fence posts

It will probably work, but it takes up space and will be a pain in the ass if you have grass near the fence.

I personally used a post-hole digger (or auger) to drill a hole 30+ inches deep, then inserted the post. I used quick-set concrete to fill the hole, while confirming that the post was plumb in both directions. Within 20 minutes the post was solid and immobile. That fence ain't going nowhere.
