Yes even male body builders use oil, etc on their skin to accentuate muscle definition as well as spending time flexing to pump up. A male body builder will have much more muscle definition because women have a layer of fat which is also why women can withstand cold better.

Yes, they would have to be doing much more than men to achieve that level of muscle definition.

Male bodybuilders, and I guess female ones too, also take diuretics in the weeks before a contest. This causes increased urination with the goal of reducing water retention and create a “dry” look, increasing muscle definition

Which is extremely dangerous because the electrolyte imbalances caused by this can cause major cardiac dysrhythmias and death
