The issue isn't just about Cliven Bundy, it is also about how the Government handled their side as well.

That issue still isn't resolved yet (IMHO), and that part of it is also what got so many people up in arms about the governments side of it, and how it handled the situation on their side.

Totally agree about how the government handled it.
But now we know that Bundy started the confrontation with his lies it adds another dimension on how hard it is to deal with habitual liars that con men with weapons to come from out of state based on those lies.

Well, let's get one thing straight from the jump. The PEOPLE, if they are alone, have little to no chance against the government and it's military might. Normally, I would promise that the military would not fire on it's own citizens. However, the way the military has changed (gays, women and mexicans) I wonder if they just might do it now.
