FDR's Message on Corporations and Fascism.

Whining about borrowers borrowing from people with money.....yeah, that's whining.
Not whining, Kulak--stealing:eek:
Opinion: The super rich elite have more money than they know what to do with

The wealthiest 1% has taken $50 trillion from working Americans and redistributed it, a new study finds. Here's what that means.

"If the ultrarich hadn't rigged the system in their favor, your annual pay would be doubled — somewhere between $48,000 and $63,000 higher per year.

"That's about $1,000 or more per weekly paycheck that you could have spent in your community, invested in home improvements, or saved for a rainy day, but which instead went to the wealthiest Americans.

"So if it feels like you're working harder for less money than your parents' and grandparents' generations, that's because you are."

...that's because we went off the gold standard...duh

Taken? LOL!

It doesn't feel that way, because it isn't true.

Yes, yes. The answer to corporations having too much power to control the economy, is to have one corporation (called government) that controls everything. And has the police and military at its disposal.

Good call.
Rich parasites employ private tyrannies called corporations to redistribute trillions of working class dollars upwards because they control government; put the blame where it belongs.

  • "The report found that $2.5 trillion is redistributed from the bottom 90% of Americans to the wealthiest 1% of Americans every year."

Stop buying goods and services from corporations.

If the bottom 90% couldn't borrow, you twats would be whining about that.
When the bottom 90% have to pay higher rates, you twats will be whining about that.

Public banking: The other winner in 2017 elections

Public banking?
That would be awesome!!!!
Corrupt government officials loaning taxpayer funds to their cronies.

What could go wrong?
Would only happen in knuckle dragging maga fuckup states. See Ohio and the GOP bailing out a coal company and a power plant.

Campaign contributions pay off for Ohio utilities and coal interests

FDR was elected in 1932 to get a handle on the recession that was consuming America. Under his watch the recession turned into a soup line depression and he didn't have the decency to bow out after two terms like every other president. People were dying in ditches and organized crime was expanding while FDR was apparently more concerned about corporations. Hitler had spies and saboteurs imbedded in the U.S. and the Brits were shocked that we didn't have a national intelligence or an espionage network. FDR was failing on all fronts but he still had his loyal media to prop him up. Democrats knew he was a dying man and they lied to America (sound familiar?) when they ran a virtual corpse for his 4th term. He was dead within 3 months of his last inauguration.

Outstanding!!!!!! The idiot doesn’t know shit from shitola

Corporations bucked the FDR Marxist doctrines so, of course, he would call them Fascist.
Corporations hate democracy which makes them fascists.
Don't agree?
Ask Smedley Butler.

Business Plot - Wikipedia

"The Business Plot (also called the Wall Street Putsch[1] and The White House Putsch) was a political conspiracy in 1933 in the United States to overthrow the government of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and install a dictator.[2]

"Retired Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler asserted that wealthy businessmen were plotting to create a fascist veterans' organization with Butler as its leader and use it in a coup d'état to overthrow Roosevelt"

83 years ago FDR sent a message to Congress pointing out the top choice for taming the corporate state is government at national, state, and local levels because government is the only real source of law and power capable of restraining corporate rule:

Message to Congress on Curbing Monopolies. | The American Presidency Project

"Unhappy events abroad have retaught us two simple truths about the liberty of a democratic people.

"The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself.

"That, in its essence, is Fascism—ownership of Government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power."

"The second truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if its business system does not provide employment and produce and distribute goods in such a way as to sustain an acceptable standard of living."

Roosevelt's 1938 message to Congress resulted in the establishment of a commission to investigate concentrated corporate power; however, world events soon intervened:

Fascist capitalists crashed the global economy in 1929, and FDR responded in a democratic fashion:

THE BUSINESS COUP OF 1934

"After easily defeating incumbent Herbert Hoover in the election of 1932, Roosevelt took office and immediately began a flurry of activity designed to bring the American economy out of the Great Depression which had begun in 1929 and deepened in subsequent years.

"Roosevelt’s initial actions were so rapid and so forceful that the beginning of his term was known as The Hundred Days.

"The firestorm of legislative proposals and executive actions began with an effort to deal with the fallout from multiple bank failures across the nation, and followed with progressive plans including these:

• "Federal Emergency Relief Administration to provide immediate help to the ill-fed and ill-housed;
• Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), putting unemployed men to work on forest and soil conservation efforts;
• Agricultural Adjustment Act, to raise the prices of farm commodities;
• National Industrial Recovery Act..."

Are you disappointed Hitler lost?

Prove it.

The wealthiest 1% has taken $50 trillion from working Americans and redistributed it, a new study finds. Here's what that means.

"That's why a new report from the nonpartisan Rand Corp. is so important. Rand's researchers analyzed American incomes between 1975 and 2018 to determine who is earning less money, who's earning more money, and where the money has gone. The results are jaw-dropping.

"The true cost of income inequality: $2.5 trillion every year

"Each year, $2.5 trillion — yes, trillion with a "T" — has been redistributed from the bottom 90% of Americans to the wealthiest 1 % of all Americans."
