Something generated the story. Are you saying the blogger simply and maliciously made it up? Do you have evidence that this blogger is prone to that sort of thing? That might be some kind of proof.

Yes/ I realize logic is sort of not your strong suit here. But something made the writer post that. Maybe it was pure malice? Maybe it was jumping the gun because Hannity etc have been calling for an FBI investigation for a while. I dont know. But the blogger chose to post that and chose not to post other possible stories--like Bill Clinton was caught in bed with Putin's wife.
But lots of stories start off in the blogosphere and end up on the front page. At what point will you concede the story is accurate? When Hillary is convicted?

Maybe tomorrow the FBI will issue a denial. Maybe tomorrow CBS will confirm it. At this point we just dont know. But it is certainly credible.

Yup......and for every one of those.....there's thousands and thousands of false claims. If we use even the tiniest bit of logic, the odds of this particular blog post having any connection to reality are slim to none.

And in the case of the Inquirer article, they didn't claim to be reporting FBI. The blog post does. And the FBI doesn't say what the blog post does. No one does. The blog post itself doesn't even have a named source.

Yet you refuse to even question it. Let alone demand evidence to back it up. Honestly, I don't think your ilk care if its accurate. All that matters if it feels true.

Is it credible that a US senator would run a child sex slave ring?
Would Cruz be running for president knowing that his activities doing that would probably coem out given the close scrutiny every candidate gets?

Now, none of those are absolute. But they are all arguments against your assertion. If tomorrow the news reports that the FBI is investigating Cruz for running a sex ring then I'll be wrong. But so far there is nothing to indicate it is true.
