I don't want to say necessarily porn, but favorite films that had an adult/ mature content. Maybe for example it was a suspense/thriller that was a little edgy with the nudity/ sex scenes. What are your favorites?
Here are mine.
1. A Clockwork Orange
- Based off one of my favorite books. I always enjoyed the main theme of the film what is appropriate punishment for the crime. Considered it Stanley Kubrick's Masterpiece.
2. Lolita
- Based off the book. One of Stanley Kubrick's finest. The book and movie put you in the mindset of pedophile, a man who likes underaged girls. The book and film is satire.
3. Showgirls
- I always enjoyed this film because I thought it actually gave a pretty accurate picture of how it is to work as a female in the strip club industry. I reached this conclusion after visiting many clubs and talking to female workers asking them how it is to work in their industry.
4. Caligula
- I always was fascinated with the Roman Emperors in particular Caligula. I enjoyed the violent brutality and gore of this movie mixed in with all the nudity/sex scenes. I think the film actually gave a good feel of how truly crazy and scary this emperor was.
5. Student Services
- A french film. What I like so much about this movie it is so true to life. I have met many young women who in order to pay bills perform adult services for older men. Laura if the film struggles to pay bills so decides to go in the business of providing adult services for older men.
6. Pretty Woman
- I always enjoyed the theme in the Movie of a rich man falling in love with a hooker. Julia Roberts was always one of my favorite Actresses.
7. 9 Songs
- What I like so much about this movie is the director putting actual sex scenes into a love story movie. A British Art Romantic Drama. Movies have come along way since the 1950's. They included more violence, nudity, sexual language, semi almost sex scenes....but crossing that border into actual sex scenes in an actual movie is something that least only is experimented with in foreign films and is still taboo in the American film industry.
8. Basic Instinct
- I always enjoyed this suspense/ thriller. The dimension of having that Love/ Hate relationship. The sexy killer female that you just got to have even if it kills you. I always had the hots for Sharon Stone.
9. Trafficked
- A film about the human trafficking problem. What I like about the film it really is everywhere and it's a market that is always in high demand across the world.
10. House of Tolerance
- A french film about a luxurious Parisian brothel. What I like about the film is it follows the lives of the workers in the brothel. I liked that the film gives you a good idea of what it must feel like and how life must be to be one of the girls working in those brothels.
