Farmers Got Billions From Taxpayers In 2019, And Hardly Anyone Objected

LMFAO from the link, he never said anything about the land feeding people..

What farmers do with their land has a huge impact on water quality, wildlife and climate change, Kling says. The USDA has programs that pay farmers to help the environment, doing things like restoring wetlands.

The government paying farmers is capitalism? Where do I find this so I can learn more?

You can't comprehend what I posted?

This fuck head bitches about climate change and the like but never mentions the land being used to grow food.

Can you show where I have even mentioned climate change?

Once again from the link...

OK, now once again, where in Capitalism do we find the government paying business to do anything?

Why do you pretend to support things you aren't even able to defend?
The government gets the money through capitalism

Is that right? LOL

The Fed doesn't just create it?

All the same even if true (which it isn't) again, how is taking from those who created it to give to others capitalism?

So the article is all about this...

"They've already given out $19 billion to farmers, but they're cutting $5 billion from people in need," says Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, who sits on the House Agriculture Committee. "I don't even know how to describe it except to say that it is cruel, it is unfair, and it is clearly designed to support the president's base, as he sees it, as opposed to those whom he sees as being undeserving."

If someone is hungry and they get a few bucks, that is socialism. If you give corporations millions that is capitalism. Or so it seems.

I'm all in favor of cutting both.

Indeed, a few weeks later, the USDA announced another $16 billion in trade-related aid to farmers. It came on top of the previous year's $12 billion package, for a grand total of $28 billion in two years. About $19 billion of that money had been paid out by the end of 2019, and the rest will be paid in 2020.
---------------------------------
and the 28 billion came from us the taxpayers and with no action by congress, for a trade war he started!!
Are you aware of where those funds came from?

How much did we collect in tariffs from China again?

No, the Fed doesn't create it.

Again, we don't support any subsidies. Stop voting Democrat, and we can cut these programs.

For one we have to pay interest on it for two yes it's true the government gets the money through capitalism..

Many people have objected. I can remember Rush Limbaugh objecting this back in the mid-2000s. I have consistently objected to it forever.

Many conservatives have objected to giving tax money to wealthy billionaires.

What is odd, is that people who claim to be against giving money to wealthy billionaires, do NOT object to this.
That is because they still think it is going to mom and pop out fits when it fact it is going to mega farms so the billionares are still getting it.

They all do that. Everyone thinks their subsidy that they like, is going to salt-of-the-earth companies and businesses.

In reality it's wealthy elite politicians, typically democrats using social justice reasoning, to give taxes from poor people, to wealthy elite political backers.
ya, its just the democrats!LOL! sure!LOL

I would not say that it is exclusively Democrats. No.

But it largely is Democrats... yes.

You do realize right now, that a good portion of that USDA funding, is for food stamps, or SNAP.... right? What do you think SNAP and food stamps is, other than Government giving billions to companies like Monsanto?

Do you see Republicans having food stamps and SNAP as a core portion of their political campaign? No. It's left-wingers that support that crap.

In fact, nearly all corporate welfare is Democrats.

Just last month, there was a thread screaming about money given to Amazon.

So I'm an Amazon shareholder. I looked it up. All the subsidy money given to Amazon by the government........ was for their green energy projects.

No it's not.

On Wednesday, newly published research from the technology accountability nonprofit Tech Inquiry revealed that the Department of Defense and federal law enforcement agencies including Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, have secured thousands of deals with Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Dell, IBM, Hewlett Packard and even Facebook that have not been previously reported.

Google, Amazon, and Microsoft hold thousands of contracts with the U.S. military and federal law enforcement, new research shows

All well and fine but it's not going to happen and it that still doesn't answer my question. How is the government taking from one to give to another capitalism?

We didn't "borrow" the money that was used to create years and years of Quantitative Easing.

...and yet you are all for reparations. Trump collected extra money from tarriffs. Trump gave it to farmers to make up for lost revenue. Farmers good. They feed us. Case closed.

Farm subsidies are an extremely important element of our social safety net. The SNAP program alone provides food to 38 million Americans.

You poor degenerates are still struggling with this...haha...see, we good real Americans take great pride in investing in our food sources as we always see a fair ROi....you filthy lowlife beggars prefer to invest in Guadalupe, ShaQuita and their litters of filth where all we see is negative returns.

Degenerates elect to struggle with making a very simple distinction...Think “GENERAL WELFARE” as our framers intended....See, we good real Americans take great pride in investing in our GENERAL / public food sources as we always see a ROi....It’s no surprise that filthy, twisted lowlife beggars prefer to invest in Guadalupe, ShaQuita and their litters of filth where all we see are negative returns.

And many farmers still blamed Trump.
Capitalism!!! Aint it great?

Sure IS !!!!!

Best system o Earth according to history. Of which you are ignorant obvsiously

I truly am ignorant as to how this is capitalism.
YES you are.
It’s actually quite simple.
Paying ShaQuita to smoke week and run her baby factory = SOCIALISM
Paying wetbacks to invade and ruin our nation = SOCIALISM

Paying farmers to produce what keeps Americans alive = NOT SOCIALISM

TA-DA!
What else can I teach you?

It's certainly admirable to admit they are racist.

Wasn't that supposed to be what Reaganomics accomplished ?

"Government is the problem."

So what caused our middle class to all but vanish in 40 years to where 80% of the population are basically poor ?

It hasn't? Middle class has not disappeared. In fact, if anything, more people from the middle class moved into the upper classes. I don't see this as bad, that more people are more wealthy, than in the past.

Which is still billions of dollars, stolen from the working people, to be given to the wealthy.

In the 1990s, they cut food stamps by more than half. People just got a job, worked for their own food.

We don't need SNAP. Those 38 million can easily buy their own food.

They reason they are taking the food, is because you are dumb enough to give it to them.

If you put free food out in front of your house, and I lived near by, I would come take some free food too. Why not?
