There needs to be a mandatory poll to every member of this forum on the budget. Here's my vote:

Why borrow the money to pay social security payments when Social Security can sell off Treasury debt it bought. Social Security owns trillions of Treasury bonds and remove the cap. No one in their right mind who pay on earnings of $96,000 would vote to keep the cap.
