For some reason her name entered my mind two days ago, I remembered I was thinking of something in the 80's and her name kind of just came up, I wondered if she was still alive. And now I find out she has died. This has happened to me before with other people, it's weird.
ODanny you are psychic. That just means you know and feel things that others might not.For some reason her name entered my mind two days ago, I remembered I was thinking of something in the 80's and her name kind of just came up, I wondered if she was still alive. I just have premonitions, it is me thinking about "I wonder what happened to"...and then days later I find out they just died. This thread is the first time I heard she passed, and I had not thought of her in maybe 30 years?ODanny you are psychic. That just means you know and feel things that others might not.
~~~~~~She served as an Israeli sniper before becoming a "sex therapist." She also supported the LBGT, feminist, and BLM movements, for whatever that's worth.
NPR reported on her death but scrubbed this line from their story: "In the 1980s, she stood up for gay men at the height of the AIDS epidemic and spoke out loudly for the LGBTQ community."
Pioneering sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer dies at 96
"Internationally acclaimed sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer, who tore down taboos with her open, nonjudgmental and good-humored public conversations about human intimacy, has died. She was 96 years old.
According to her longtime publicist Pierre Lehu, Westheimer died peacefully on Friday at her home in New York City. The cause of death was not publicly shared.
Westheimer became a household name in the early 1980s when she was in her 50s, for her frank approach to discussing sex on her popular late-night radio show, Sexually Speaking."
That's how she got her start....talking to soldiers about sex....sniper? Probably not.~~~~~~
Wow, I didn't know that Dr. Ruth was a sniper in the IDF during the 1948 battle of independence.
Thanks...
You have a special gift, I have a gift too. I can meet people and feel right away if they are good or bad. I don't know how I know but my brother started counting and stop at 17. I can just feel people and their bad vibes.I just have premonitions, it is me thinking about "I wonder what happened to"...and then days later I find out they just died.
