In a dependant and enslaved country.

No matter who wins tonight or in the courts, the faithless vote could change the outcome for either.

Scary.

My prediction: Biden is declared the winner after the counting stops.

Trump is then declared the winner by the courts weeks later.

When the Electoral college convenes near the end of the year, Faithless Electors vote Biden, or abstain from Trump (or vote third party) and pass the lead the Biden anyway in the name of "social justice" and "exposing the obsolence of the Electoral College."

The live EC "electors" can and should be replaced by virtual/automatic electors to preclude "faithless electors".

Or we could just go to a popular vote nationally and be done with it.

The problem is, you guys want this buffer, but then worry it might do it's own thing.

Here's what will probably end up happening. After PA, GA, NV, and AZ are called for Biden, the EC will convene in December, and one or two REPUBLICANS will be faithless and vote for someone like Pence. But it really won't matter.

A national popular vote is just mob rule by the biggest cities and would never be accepted throughout middle America. Voter fraud has always been the fall back position for Dems when elections may not go their way. The rest of us are supposed to bend over & take it for the good of the country. F' that

We didn’t have any faithless electors in 2020.

We had 7 faithless electors in 2016.

We had 0 faithless electors in 2012.

We had 0 faithless electors in 2008.

We had 1 faithless electors in 2004.

It looks like the legally binding method of selecting our president was way smoother than the 2016 election.
