I watched this video of a girl from Kazakhstan talking about her impressions of New York. She was struck by the stench. Surprisingly...
The first time I was in New York in 1994, lived in Manhattan for 3 months, the smell on the streets was everywhere pleasant and exotic, although I saw sleeping and shitting in the streets. Second time I lived there in 2005 - same thing.....
Has it really changed so much in 20 years(20 years!... Time flies...)? Does it really smell like that now?
