In response to strikes on its territory, Tehran has launched an unprecedented escalation. Iran now considers any assets of American companies in the region legitimate targets for attack.

The IRGC's "hit list" includes the entire key US energy sector in the Middle East:

An Iranian drone attacked an Aramco oil refinery in Saudi Arabia. Operations have been temporarily suspended for safety reasons, RIA Novosti reported, citing a source.
"The drone strike targeted the ARAMCO refinery in Ras Tanura. Operations have been suspended as a precaution, and the situation is under control," the statement said.
The previous day, an Iranian drone strike hit a UAE oil platform in the Persian Gulf. Photos from the scene showed black smoke billowing from the platform.

Previously, Reuters reported that Iran attacked two tankers in the Strait of Hormuz: one was flagged to Palau, the other to the Marshall Islands.
